Whether you start with oysters or the house wings, the Tiki Docks Bar & Grill is a fun place to be, and enjoy live music. Early birds stop for breakfast at Fred’s Market Restaurant to enjoy the homemade casseroles and fresh baked goods. Speaking of baked goods, we promise not to tell Fred if you decide to go to the Maple Street Biscuit Company instead for their fresh, buttery biscuits made daily along with their house-made jams and jellies. The locals’ favorite for surf-and-turf is the Sakura Japanese Steak House & Sushi Bar. Their Hibachi steak and sashimi always hit the spot.
Things to Do
Locals love hiking the nature trails at the Alafia Scrub Nature Preserve because of the scenic overlook on the trail along the Alafia River. Golfers enjoy the Summerfield Crossings Golf Club for its breathtaking terrain. The highlight is the signature 15th hole with an island green, water, and wind challenges. Galaxy Farms has horseback riding lessons, from beginner to advanced, as well as horse boarding and care.
